What I call the law of uniformity applies to where safe places will be. Whether we are talking about a forest fire or a flood, the larger the area affected the less uniform the damage will be, and the smaller the area the more uniform the damage will be. The law of uniformity says some areas will be far less affected than others. So there will be safer places within safe places.

Think of the size of the world, then the size of the USA, then the size of the Ozark Plateau.  The Ozarks being the smallest is still several thousand square miles of land.  Perspective!

The “Law of Uniformity” is my own pseudoscience invention I use to help define what a safe area might be. I am proposing that the articles in this blog show that the most mountainous and secluded parts of the Ozark Plateau is among the safest places on earth.
